How do I request medication refills?
A. During a scheduled appointment: Patients should bring their bottles of medication to every appointment. The medical staff will review your med list during your appointment. The provider will send the prescriptions approved for refill to the pharmacy of your choice electronically.
B. Call the Office: Patients must call at least 4-5 days before running out of your medication. Some insurance companies require a pre-authorization, and this can take several days.
Referrals:
Patients will be contacted by phone by our office or the referral doctor’s office to provide appointment information. Referral appointments are scheduled based on the availability of the referring doctor’s office schedule. Patients will be provided the phone number to referring doctor’s office to address conflicts in appointment scheduled.
Do I pay a co-pay for Tele-Visits?
YES, A Tele-Visit (Visit on the Phone) is considered a visit and will require a co-pay if your insurance requires a co-pay.
Is there an after-hours phone number available?
YES, Call the office number (859-624-2290) and you will be provided directions for an after-hours call.
Do I need to schedule an appointment for Lab work?
It’s not required, but to reduce wait time it is recommended you call before you arrive.
Do I need to schedule an appointment for injections? (allergies, B12)
